A call for donation

YESH - Children and Orphans Holocaust Survivors in Israel (R.A), has a purpose of striving for an historical justice and repairing the evils for 200,000 "Holocaust children" living in Israel today. 40% of them, i.e. 80,000 men and women, aged 70 on average - are below the poverty line. We are doing our best to help those people, so that they can live their final years maintaining their dignity and appealing as less as possible to various welfare institutions.

During their whole adult lives "Holocaust Children" carried with them the horrors of Holocaust and the loss of their parents and loved ones, albeit making a diverse contribution to the building of the State of Israel. Despite their great suffering and their devotion to the state, no one has made sure they are compensated for their exploited childhood and a continuous sorrow, which they still feel today.

We are trying hard to correct this situation, if only partially, with the following:

• Reparations claim from the Germans for "Holocaust children" - their "exploited childhood" and their parents' stolen property.
• Assistance and welfare activities ("lend-an-ear", visiting the sick, delivering information on various rights and privileges, assistance in forms filling) - through 10 branches we've established and with the help of hundreds of volunteers.
• Commemoration of 1.5 million children perished in the Holocaust - through the foundation of "Child memorials" in numerous local community centers in Israel.
• Educational and propaganda activities among the youth.

All the staff work voluntarily, without payment.

Therefore allow us to appeal for your generous donation to "Child Survivors".

Please, help us, so we can help tens of thousands of "Holocaust Children" in Israel live their final years with dignity, as an appreciation of their struggle and their contribution to the state, and also (partially) restore their lives and the lives of their families.
